Esanuka Genseikaen

Esaruka Genseikaen

Esanuka genseikaen indicates coastal grassland along coastal road extended from Hama-Sarufutsu to southeastward, but there are neither guide boards nor trails. There are only some sandy roads virtically extended from main road to beach. In May to July, you can watch Siberian Rubythroat, Bull-headed shrike, Eurasian Skylark, Chestnut-eared Bunting and Middendorff’s grasshopper warbler. White-tailed Eagle and Eurasian March Harrier often pass through the sky. In October and November, Black-legged kittiwake, Mew gull, Herring Gull and Black-headed Gull may stop over the coast on the way to migration. In November and December, White-tailed Eagles and Steller’s Sea Eagles arrive at this area, but the road is inaccessible after snowing starts.
