Toyotomi Nature Park is unfamous but a birding site where you can watch forest birds near town. There are some trails in the park, and you can walk up the top of the hill. In May to July, you can watch forest birds such as Narcissus Flycatcher, Japanese Robin, Siberian Blue Robin, Brown-headed thrush and Eastern Crowned Willow Warbler. In spring and autumn, you can watch migratory birds such as Brambling and Dusky Thrush. you can also watch resident birds such as Marsh Tits, Coal Tits, Eastern Nuthutch, Long-tailed tits, Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker and Great Spotted Woodpecker, though you need snowshoes in snow season.
