Otatomari pond(Numaura)

The view of Mt Rishiri from Otatomarinuma Lake is marvelous. A circuit trail takes 30 minute walk, and You can watch Eastern crowned willow Warbler and Japanese bush Warbler in trees, and Red-flanked Bluetail and Rustic Bunting walking on the trail from spring to summer. In the lake, Black-tailed Gulls often drink fresh water and bath, and ducks such as Tufted duck and Greater Scaup, shorebirds such as Black-winged Stilt and Common Coot sometimes stopover the lake. In spring-autumn migratory season, stray birds may emerge.
