Mamiya Rinzo Statue
Mamiya Rinzo was a great Japanese explorer, the first to travel across the sea to Sakhalin and discover that it was in fact an island. He was also the only Japanese to leave a Japanese name, the Mamiya Strait( English name: Strait of Tartary) on a world atlas.
